2020 Honda Civic Sedan

A compact sedan like the Honda Civic is a great choice for both your daily commute and taking road trips. It offers a comfortable cabin and impressive fuel economy. To show drivers in Panama City, Springfield, and Callaway everything it’s capable of, Honda of Bay County put together this 2020 Honda Civic Sedan review.

Specs & Fuel Economy

Honda Civic Engine

The Honda Civic sedan delivers a fun and efficient drive. There are two sporty powertrains to choose from, starting with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. It uses Intelligent Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (i-VTEC) to get up to 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. It’s also capable of getting up to an EPA-estimated 30 city/38 highway MPG rating for LX CVT and Touring trims.[i]

The larger and more powerful option is a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that gets up to 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. With this powertrain, the Honda Civic can get up to an EPA-estimated 32 city/42 highway MPG rating for EX & EX-L trims.[ii]

Interior Dimensions

The interior of the Honda Civic is as sharp as its performance. Cloth seats come standard, but you can add amenities that make it feel like a sports car, including leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a leather gear shift knob.

Up front, the driver and front passenger can relax with 39.3 inches of headroom and 42.3 inches of legroom. Passengers in the back seat will have 37.1 inches of headroom and 37.4 inches of legroom. Three people can comfortably sit side by side, too, with 55.0 inches of rear shoulder room. Plus, you’ll be able to load lots of groceries with 15.1 cubic feet of cargo room in the trunk.

Everyone will be strapped in tightly, too, with an Automatic Tensioning System on the front seatbelts and Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren (LATCH) in the back.

The Honda Civic is also loaded with technology that can help prevent accidents. The Honda Sensing® system comes standard and gives you more awareness during your drive with safety features such as:
